The majority, 57% of its revenues come from helping corporations find employees. Yes, LinkedIn makes its money like Monster.com. Well, not exactly like Monster! LinkedIn has great information about white collar workers that are both currently looking for a job, and those that might not be looking. In short, LinkedIn has a bigger pool of “potential candidates” for recruiters and HR people to find the perfect fit.
The irony is that LinkedIn is the perfect place to find high-end employees, because it’s not just a job board but a business social network that has far more utility than an online job board.
