Before researching this topic, I might have answered “Monster.com” or “Career Builder”. However, the popularity of these sites has been be rapidly decreasing over the last several years. If you visit Career Builder’s website, the design looks like it hasn’t been updated in a decade. My guess is Monster.com and Career Builder have stopped innovating, enabling LinkedIn and Indeed to become the most popular job boards.

Need to find a cheap apartment to rent? Many people would check out Craigslist. Need to post a job without spending tons of money. Well, Craigslist is very, very cheap. In many locations, employers can post on Craigslist for free or $25. In San Francisco, the cost goes up to $75. However, compared to the $400 or $500 charged by Linkedin or Monster, Craigslist is bargain. You might however have trouble finding traditional white collar workers on Craigslist.
