Wix Customer Reviews
Customer Service: Good
Summary of User Reviews
We scoured hundreds of reviews and found that Wix has generally positive ratings. Here’s what we found:
What Wix does well:
Users who gave Wix a positive rating were happy with how intuitive Wix is. The drag-and-drop system is easy to use, and it allows businesses to create websites without any HTML coding knowledge.
What Wix does not do well:
Negative Wix reviewers complain about its slow servers. Websites created with Wix sometimes load slowly and are thought to not be very SEO friendly, which means websites made with Wix may not show up on the search engine results page.
Most Helpful Positive User Review
“I’ve had several sites in my time with various hosts and Wix has been the easiest and least fiddly to use by far! And I have little patience for technology so that’s something! They also have excellent customer service that replies within a business day. I’m on an unlimited plan but when my domain name stopped working recently I got confused and thought it was my plan so bought an eCommerce plan because it didn’t let me choose unlimited (should have realised then but was confused) and as a business they could have said it was my fault and done nothing but have kindly offered me a refund for my confusion/silliness.”

Most Helpful Negative User Review
“The package at half price was reasonable value for a year, however the site was extremely slow loading – too slow for a photography website – and a number of people commented on how the overall feel of my website and navigation felt substandard/cheap. I would agree and suggest far better value hosting and web design can be found elsewhere. Customer service was friendly but for the main part unhelpful in achieving the desired outcome.”

How We Determined Quality of User Review Websites
- TrustPilot has several reviews on the product. The website gives the company in question a chance to reply to the reviewers so it can respond to consumer complaints.
- SiteJabber also has ample reviews on the product, and each review can be rated according to how helpful it is, so visitors of the website can see informative reviews first.
- PC Mag has a staff review of Wix on its website. The review is detailed and informative, but one person’s perspective does not speak for everybody.
|Pricing per month|
Wix has 5 premium plans ranging in price from $5 to $25 per month. They also have a free service, which allows users to create websites using the Wix subdomain (ex: yourwebsite.wix.com). Users can get their own domain starting with the Connect Domain plan for $5/ month. All plans give users access to hundreds of templates plus several website elements, which they can just drag and drop into the website builder. Higher-tiered plans give users more storage and bandwidth allocation.
Best Pricing Option for Small Business Owners
The Unlimited Plan is the best option for most small businesses. While the free option is better money-wise, it is better suited for individuals who want to make hobby and recreational websites. For businesses, it’s better to have your own domain so your business appears more legitimate. The Unlimited Plan also offers businesses decent storage and bandwidth allocation. If you would like to sell products online, you can upgrade to the eCommerce plan, which gives you the ability to create an online store.
