Alert Logic FAQs
Can I add new users to the Alert Logic console?
Yes. New user accounts can be created by customers who have been designated as Administrator within the Alert Logic console. When a company first signs up for Alert Logic services, they are asked to designate an Administrator user for the Alert Logic console, which Alert Logic will create. It is up to the Administrator to generate and maintain the other user accounts for access to the console.
Alert Logic has no way of knowing when employees come and go from your company, nor what level of access each person requires to fulfill their job responsibilities, so it is not possible for Alert Logic to maintain users for your account.
How can I offboard a user?
To offboard a user from an Alert Logic product, you will first need to delete or lock the user account for the Alert Logic console that is used by the individual you are offboarding. When the user account is successfully removed, it will not have automatically removed the user from existing Notification Policies or Notification Contact lists. You will need to manually edit those lists to reflect the personnel change. Lastly, you should communicate to Alert Logic that a personnel change has occurred, as Alert Logic maintains a separate list of escalation contacts that are used in reaching out to customers.
