What Avira Does Well
Users who gave Avira a positive review appreciate that the software has a wide range of malware security features. Some users like how their Browser Security extension easily detects malicious URLs and then warns them of possible phishing activities.
“It has the same Browser Safety extension that fends off malicious URLs and also serves to keep users from being fooled by phishing sites, fraud sites that try to steal login credentials by posing as, say, PayPal, or a bank website.”
What Avira Does Not Do Well
Users who gave Avira a negative review said that the software’s list of features is too basic and does not address more advanced security needs. Others mentioned that they have to lessen computer activity when doing a full scan because the progress is so slow.
“The feature list is good but are really basic. I don’t think this is enough for a business.
It’s enough to check requirement boxes but not sure it will be secured enough.”
Avira offers three types of full suite options. Antivirus Pro Business Edition costs $22 per device per year. Antivirus for Endpoint and Antivirus for Small Business can be used on up to 3 devices and cost $83 and $121 per year, respectively.
