Craigslist Customer Reviews
Summary of User Reviews
We scoured hundreds of reviews and found that Craigslist has mainly positive reviews. Here’s what we found:
What Craigslist does well:
According to positive reviews online, Craigslist has one of the easiest buy-and-sell platform interfaces out there. Users can post free ads, and they can find almost any kind of freelance service they need.
What Craigslist does not do well:
According to negative reviews, ads can be removed without warning when a certain number of users flag it, making it difficult to look for prospects. Aside from that, Craigslist has no security measures in place for both buyers and sellers. Users also complained about Craigslist’s lack of customer support.
Most Helpful Positive User Review
According to one review on Influenster, the client has mostly had a positive experience with Craigslist. Most of the people he worked with were excellent in doing their job. He did encounter a few strange individuals online, but for the most part, he got the services he wanted.
Most Helpful Negative User Review
According to a user who left a negative review of Craigslist on Consumer Affairs, there seems to be no way to get connected to a customer service representative. He needed to reach them to understand why his ads were being removed, but when he calls, he gets an automated response telling him to send an email. When he does, he gets canned replies as well. So he feels that he’s running around in circles and not getting anything accomplished from Craigslist.
