Most Helpful Positive User Review
A user who gave First Data a positive review on Trustpilot said that the hardware that comes with it, the Clover POS, is easy to use and that its set up with First Data is very intuitive. She shared that just after one day of setting up and installation, most of her staff were already fully competent in using it that they wondered how they survived for long without it.
Most Helpful Negative User Review
“Customer service is a nightmare to get a hold of. They locked me into a 3 year contract with excessive fees without even telling me this was a 3 year contract with a hefty early termination fee. The quoted processing charges were about the same as a better processor such as Stripe or even PayPal, but their interface to take payments was confusing and outdated. There was no way for me to export my customer data when I wanted to leave. There was a monthly fee on top of the processing fees and extra per transaction fees that were not disclosed upfront. First Data fails on transparency, ease of use, pretty much everything.”
