Summary of Fotor Reviews
What Fotor does well:
Users who gave Fotor a positive review liked how easy it is to learn how to use it compared to other design software on the market, considering the number of photo editing options it has even for free users.
What Fotor does not do well:
There aren’t a lot of negative reviews for Fotor, but some users mentioned that there are way too many ads that appear on the free version of the software.
Most Helpful Positive User Review
A positive reviewer from the site G2 Crowd said that it is easy to jump into using Fotor. She shared that she has used PicMonkey and Canva in the past (where users can also set up free accounts), but she feels that Fotor has more photo editing options available. She can crop photos to different sizes, freeform a shape, add different effects, put stickers and text, airbrush and tone faces, and a lot more.
Most Helpful Negative User Review
A reviewer from G2 Crowd said that the phone application is bombarded with too many ads and pop-ups, which becomes very annoying when he’s using Fotor for something that requires a lot of attention — especially when he’s working on a tight deadline.

Fotor’s Free versions (mobile app, browser, desktop) can be used extensively for basic editing and designing tasks. Users who don’t do any advanced designing projects can make use of the free features for cropping and resizing photos, making simple collages, and minor photo retouching.
The Pro version offers more choices for templates, design elements, as well as a constantly updated library of content to use. Unlike with the Free version, Fotor Pro users get new updates weekly which expands the variation of possible designs.
One notable addition to the Pro version are the social media templates. Users won’t have to manually assign sizes as templates for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and more are already pre-set and available in Fotor Pro.
