Users who gave Helcim a positive review said that the application and setup process with Helcim is fast and easy. They also praised the company’s lower rates, zero setup and termination fees, and helpful customer support.
What Helcim does not do well:
We only found two negative reviews about Helcim at the time of this writing. One was just a sentence long and did not really provide details. The other one said that he lost sales because of the delay in processing his application and the mistakes Helcim made in sending him the approprite payment terminal.

One user who gave Helcim a positive review on Better Business Bureau said that the company is an amazing group to work with. His business provides online and on-site ticketing services to theatres, and because of Helcim’s good pricing, topnotch API, useful documentation, and helpful customer support — he was able to attract more clients. He’s also happy with the flexibility in customizing the look and feel of his payment forms and the security that comes with it. He mentioned that his clients were surprised with the savings they were getting with Helcim.

One user who gave Helcim a negative review on Card Payment Options complained about having to wait for days with no one following up on his application. He found out that the sales person he talked to was off, and he was upset that his application was not passed to another sales person for immediate processing. He also mentioned that Helcim failed to understand what he really wanted — which led to incorrect machines being sent, delays in resolution, and lost sales for his store.

For example, if your business has a monthly volume of $7,500, then processing rates range from 1.8% – 2.15%. Monthly rates are fixed and range from $12-$25.
