What Humanity Does Well
Users who gave Humanity a positive review said that it has an intuitive interface that’s great for organizing team schedules. Some of them also commended the helpful and reliable customer support team.
“Humanity provides a comprehensive and easy-to-use scheduling and timekeeping platform at a great price. As a small nonprofit, our time and money are incredibly important and Humanity saves us both. Our employees love the mobile app and really appreciate the ability to keep track of their hours. It is also great for all of us to be able to keep in contact with each other through the app for those last minute schedule changes and occasional emergencies. Customer service is on point. ”

What Humanity Does Not Do Well
Users who gave Humanity a negative review complained about leave approval customizations and the lack of role-based permissions. Some of them also said that the reports are difficult to extract.
“I would love to see Humanity work on developing their employee training feature as it is very basic and could use some more attention to make a really great add-on product. Other functions could be updated to work better as well. For instance, I wish that the leave settings could allow us to block certain dates from being requested off. I also wish that you could set certain people with permissions to change their schedules instead of just being department-wide.”

The interface is very easy and simple to use, not many text or too much going on in one page. I think overall, it is very easy to use and understand.
I’m still very confused on how to work the availability section.
Nothing, maybe a small tutorial on how to use the availability section.

I like that I can add future schedules using the current ones. And also the function of automatic sending of emails and messages to the employees of the next shift.
The Humanity phone application does more harm than good, as it is designed now. Does not work makes you lose valuable, frustrating time, buttons do not work, etc.
I would have liked to know that it has horrible customer service, it is impossible to get someone to train you or your staff on how the system works, and never answer calls, it took 3 months to call someone on the phone despite setting the hours you should call us.

Fantastic scheduling software for companies with large amount of people. I currently have a staff of 90 people and am able to schedule them all with ease. I love being able to copy shifts from previous weeks and the ease of scheduling based on availability of so many part time people.
It would be nice if it could automatically import to our payroll software. At the moment there seems to be a disconnect so we have to go by printed reports and key in hours.
Nothing. We are completely satisfied with the program and having compared it to others, find it to be more than optimum.

Humanity has a slick design, with different tabs that are organized in a logical way.
I wish Humanity would make it more obvious which shifts are repeating shifts, and which shifts are not. You have to actually open the shift input box to see how many times a shift has repeated. This causes some frustration when you start creating schedules and leave off at a different time.
The input setting for shift times defaults to AM, even for the end time. So, if you type in 6-3 for a shift time, you are going to schedule the shift from 6 AM to 3 AM the following morning! Make sure you clarify each time when you are scheduling in the PM.
Just beware of some minor inputting quirks when using Humanity. Otherwise, I think Humanity honestly beats out everyone else. It’s not perfect, but it is better compared to other systems I’ve used, including T-sheets.

User friendly. Transparent with updated.
Multiple levels for permissions that aren’t clear. Not ideal for running payroll.
Nothing specific. We were happy until we needed an all in one for scheduling, payroll, recruiting and employee management.
