Most Helpful Positive Review
A user who left a positive review on G2 Crowd said that Mixpanel has a lot of capabilities for tracking web events and does so in real-time. He mentioned that it’s relatively easy to create data analysis activities specific to a company’s business goals. He also highlighted that tracking these activities can be retroactive; if users create an activity today, the data from yesterday still exists which is really helpful, and isn’t something offered by other tools like Google Analytics.
Most Helpful Negative Review
A user who left a negative review on G2 Crowd said that Mixpanel is not intuitive from a user’s perspective, especially if they don’t have background in using an analytics platform. He also said the user interface is a little clunky, and trying to navigate around the platform can be difficult.

Here are a few other resources for finding helpful Mixpanel reviews from customers. We rated the review sites on a scale from poor to excellent based on how trustworthy and useful the reviews seemed.
Mixpanel has three core subscription plans ranging from $0 to $999-$9,990+ per year. The main differences between the plans are the number of data points allocated, type of reports, length of data history, and number of accounts.
(depends on # of data points)
A particular number of data points is allocated per subscription option. A data point is counted every time a user tracks an event or an activity. This can be a song play, a user comment, or a step in a funnel. Once a user reaches their data point allocation, they will be notified by the support team. Should they opt to continue and include the extra points for analysis, they will be charged with Mixpanel’s standard rate, which costs 20% more than their plan rates and will be included in the regular billing.
On top of the three plans in the chart above, users can opt to add a People Plan — Mixpanel’s people analytics package, which helps users determine the profile categories of their audience to better understand their behavior. Analyzing up to 1,000 profiles is free, while an additional $150 per month or $999 per year is charged for analyzing profiles starting at 50,000. Users who need more profile allocation can check pricing here.
