When To Consider PNC BusinessOptions® Visa® Business Credit Card Alternatives
You Spend Over Your Credit Limit
The maximum credit limit you can get with the PNC BusinessOptions® Visa® Business Credit Card will depend on your chosen payment frequency. The pay-in-full option has a high credit limit of $250,000, while you can get a maximum limit of $50,000 for the revolve option. However, if you spend beyond these, you will be charged with overlimit fees. If these limits are not enough for your business’s expenses, you may opt for a card that provides flexibility and allows you to spend over your limit without penalties. For this, we recommend the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card.

You may apply for the PNC BusinessOptions® Visa® Business Credit Card by calling the provider at (855) 762-2365, from Mondays through Fridays between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern time. You may also visit the issuer’s website and complete the contact form and a PNC Business Banking representative will contact you within one to two business days.
No, the Cash Flow Insight tool will not replace your accounting software. Rather, it will complement your accounting system—it integrates with most accounting software to record your payment data and other business’s financial transactions. This will help simplify your account reconciliation process.
Cash back rewards will not expire—these are credited automatically to your statement at the end of each billing cycle in March, June, September, and December each year. On the other hand, all points expire at the end of the 48th month after they were credited to your PNC points account. Meanwhile, miles expire on the statement closing date in December after four calendar years they were earned. For example, all unused Miles earned from Jan. 1, 2022, through Dec. 31, 2022, will expire on the statement closing date in December 2026.
Bottom Line
The PNC BusinessOptions® Visa® Business Credit Card is an ideal choice if you want to select the type of rewards you earn and whether you’ll use the card as a traditional credit card or as a charge card. Keep in mind that if you choose to earn points or miles rewards, you need to use them within 48 months and four calendar years respectively, else, they will expire. Also, the card does not come with 0% financing, so it may not be a great option if you plan to make a large purchase or consolidate your debts from other credit cards.
