How To Print Reports in Lendio Accounting (formerly Sunrise)

We’ll also show you how to customize basic reporting options.

Step 1: Access the Reports Section
Step 1: In the left menu bar, click Accounting.

The Reports tab is divided into five tabs:
- Profit & Loss: Report that shows the company’s revenue and expenses during a specified period.
- Balance Sheet: Financial statement that reports a company’s liabilities, assets, and shareholder equity
- Trial Balance: List of all of the general ledger accounts contained in the ledger of a business
- Sales Tax: Allows you to keep track of sales taxes that are collected and which products are taxed
- Exports: Additional reports for export

- Accounts receivable aging: List of all open invoices, grouped by customer. You can select the effective date.
- Accounts payable aging: List of all unpaid expenses, grouped by vendor. You can select the effective date.
- Account statement: List of all entries, grouped by account similar to a general ledger. You can set the period, such as month, quarter, year, fiscal year, all entries, or a custom date range.
- Entry journal: List of all journal entries across all accounts. You can set the time period—by month, quarter, year, fiscal year, all entries, or a custom date range.
- Balance list: List of the current balance on your accounts. You can set the time period—by month, quarter, year, fiscal year, all entries, or a custom date range.
- Chart of accounts: List of all of your accounts
- Contacts: List of all of your contacts, with their information
- Products: List of all of your products, with relevant information
- Customer account statement: List of all invoices and payments, grouped by customer. You can set the time period—by month, quarter, year, fiscal year, all entries, or a custom date range.
- Vendor account statement: List of all expenses and payments, grouped by customer. You can set the time period—by month, quarter, year, fiscal year, all entries, or a custom date range.
- Invoices: List of all invoices created, that can be filtered by month, quarter, year, fiscal year, or a custom date range.
- Expenses: List of all expenses, which can be filtered by month, quarter, year, fiscal year, all entries, or a custom date range.
- All transactions backed up: ZIP file with all of your transactions. Each invoice and expense will be in its own folder, along with any PDF files and attachments associated with it. This can be filtered by period and type of transaction.
- Depreciable assets: Excel file with your depreciable assets for a selected year.

Step 3: Customize the Basic Report Options
To create custom reports in Lendio Accounting, you can change the report options to reflect the information that you’re seeking. The example below shows the options for a Profit & Loss report. You can change the date range and even compare the amounts with the previous year. You can also indicate how many columns you want on the report, hide accounts with a zero balance, and show the year-to-date balances.
Once you have made the changes, click Apply to update your report. The next time you open your report, it’ll reset to the default settings.

Step 4: Export & Print the Report
Lendio Accounting allows you to export reports in three formats: PDF, HTML, and CSV.
Step 1: From the Reports page, click on the report that you want to export.
Step 2: Click the Export button in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select the desired report format.
In the example below, we show you how to export the report as PDF. From there, you can print the report, or save it.
