What does the company do well? The company does have iPad functionality and has easy to modify templates
What does the company not do well? Retrieval of information is really not done well. It takes several clicks to figure out what a patient had in the past, and this is not optimal for a business that values efficiency. The iPad interface is anything but intuitive as far as navigating through a note goes. Billing for cash payments (which is the workhorse of our practice) is also far from intuitive and easy.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing? The the customer service is based on the west coast, which works if you are on the west coast. I'm on the east coast and the availability of customer support did get in the way of business functioning smoothly. I also wished that I looked into Practice Fusion (which is widely used and FREE) prior to Drchrono, as there are not many features added that actually save you time, which is why I ended my contract after one year of use despite the pain of migrating systems.
