What does the company do well? I've used GoToMeeting as well as other competitor products, Citrix, Webex and numerous products for the educational industry. GoToMeeting is my preferred choice because unlike many of the other products, I never needed an 'administrator'. I could do it myself, set up the meetings, invite participants, run the webinar. I particularly like to have engagement from the attendees, so being able to share my screen, or point something out with the drawing tools on screen was important to me. I was also able to give THEM the drawing tools and that's something other tools don't offer. If you're just doing a talking head webinar, then these tools aren't important, but if you want participants engaged, GoToMeeting is great.
What does the company not do well? I really never had any issues. I've found latency typically depends on the PC that the user is viewing the meeting from. That's true with any app. When I attend meetings from my OLD laptop, it's just slow on any site.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing? I wished I'd known they have upgraded tools, like GoToTraining that does even more!
