What does the company do well?
Muse is a product for those who find Dreamweaver or other similar web dev/design apps to be bit challenging. Muse takes the coding out of the equation and is a full featured WYSIWG application with high level of granular control for the user as opposed to the one click web apps offered by the likes of GoDaddy. It is a very powerful application that with very little knowledge of web coding, one can create a powerful website to their whims, desires and needs.
What does the company not do well?
It is very disappointing that Adobe will continue their disturbing trend of building an app like this one, scale it with the sky is the limit impression and then suddenly decide to reverse course and no longer do anything with it. The app will be obsolete in their minds in about 18-24 months, seeming ceding this side of web design to GoDaddy's website builder and others like it.Mobile design and layout is also lacking as well, wish they'd keep scaling it to make it more effective for building out mobile sites as there is a different learning curve than for web/desktop/tablet.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
That they'd end support in 18-24 months and actually sent Muse to pasture a few months ago.
