What does the company do well?
Dialpad makes Unified Communications really easy. It's all cloud based so I can use it on any computer either with the apps or using a Google Chrome extension. The mobile apps work great on my iPAD, iPhone and Android devices and set up is a breeze. The best feature is the fact that they don't overload you with features, settings and unnecessary controls. The recent floating Dialpad Anywhere mini-control app allows me to get out of the dialer and have controls like call transfer and hold visible to me while i'm working in another application on the screen of my Mac.
What does the company not do well?
If Dialpad falls short its that their conferencing product, UberConference lacks video conferencing. The great music on hold, and the simplicity of file sharing, calling out to get someone on the call more than makes up for it though.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
Not much. I was using Dialpad from the day the service started as Switch because I was a UberConference user since it started.
