What does the company do well? I have utilized Cision throughout my PR|Communications career. I have been impressed with its extensive contact and outlet database, press release distribution tool and media monitoring. I have also appreciated the knowledgeable customer service representatives I've worked with. I've contacted the company multiple times to discuss my account, specifically about my keywords. They've patiently listened to my concerns and provided their feedback on my recommended keywords to make sure I'm getting accurate and extensive media mentions of my clients|companies.
What does the company not do well? I'm not sure how it compares to others in the industry, but pricing seems a bit high.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using? All of the available tools and training. I think this was more a fault of my colleague who is the main contact with Cision rather than Cision itself, but would have been good to know so I can be sure I'm maximizing the benefits of Cision.
