What does the company do well?
I used to work for Avaya about a decade ago. They do make some pretty remarkable products and software for businesses. One of the largest client sectors were call centers throughout the US. VOIP was very big a decade ago and Avaya phones were all the rage. Bottom line: Great company, great products.
What does the company not do well?
Avaya is a technology company and like most technology companies, they are continuously producing newer and better software and hardware. Many customers complain of the high price vs purchasing obsolete equipment after just a couple years of ownership. Perhaps this is a negative or perhaps this is a positive. It really depends on how you view it.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
I wish I knew the pros and cons of all other competitors before purchasing Ayaya last year. The only reason we purchased this technology was because of my past experience in working for them. As it turns out, there is a lot of great new technology out there often with a less expensive price tag.
