What does the company do well?
Open Dental has an amazing tech team, who actually remember your name when you call. They're very savvy on not only their software, but on general networking help, and they are always happy to step outside of the software to help troubleshoot what's going on. It's rare that tech support is needed through Open Dental, though. It's very fast and responsive, and gives you all of the controls you need to ensure compliance with HIPAA
What does the company not do well?
I can't think of anything this company doesn't do well.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
That it existed. The landscape of dental software is pretty much saturated with Henry Schein and Patterson. Some of the lesser known companies can be hard to find. Open Dental has a great user engagement forum and a lot of developers have tools that fit in with Open Dental for reporting, and other features.
