What does the company do well?
I have been with them for over ten years and their shared hosting plan has mostly served what I needed for hosting three to four small sites. I have found their support to be very responsive, quick and usually very capable to resolve day-to-day issues.
What does the company not do well?
A year or so back they started throttling my sites even though the number of visits has not significantly increased. My personal website was offline for five minutes today. This has got to the point that I am now in the process of moving to another provider, even though I have paid for several years in advance.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
I wish I had known that, when they promised unlimited space and unlimited sites, further down the track they would start implementing arbitrary CPU and I/O usage criteria which would mean that my small sites are increasingly taken offline at random intervals. And I really wish that I had known that before renewing for another five plan.
