What does the company do well?
Bronto is honestly a great way to send emails and can sync large amounts of data. It has detailed reporting with an interface that is very complex. We generate a lot of revenue using their platform. It is easy to edit HTML, yet also do a "drag and drop" type of arrangement with emails. There's really everything you could need with the addition of the "Previewer" which helps the company I work for. Their customer service (especially Live Chat) is pretty superb. I've never had to wait long for them to answer questions. They also give cute vendor swag, ha!
What does the company not do well?
Bronto has an interface that could be improved upon greatly, for example, in their new design - they left a lot of elements of the old design that made things harder to find and pull. Their reporting could also use some work - as older email reports do not have Heat Maps and the features newer ones do. I also would enjoy having more options and synthesized reporting that gives a more general overview in a concise way. We also had some trouble syncing Mobile Data with Bronto because of the way it was processed that was different from what our system. Their pop-up options could use work also. And overall, the platform can be slower in load time than I'd imagine some competitors are.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
I used Constant Contact at my other job and it was a big learning curve. I didn't really find anything to be overly challenging to use, though.
