What does the company do well?
There are so many paid services like this one, that it's hard to believe this one is free! But I'm so glad it is! I've recommended it to several peers, and will continue to do so. I mostly use the invoicing feature, and I'm always amazed at how fast the process goes. I also love being able to proactively set payment reminders. This takes the pressure off of me having to follow up individually, or make it awkward. And, of course, I am delighted that I can customize invoices with my logo and brand colors. I switched from another, paid software, and have been happy with the choice.
What does the company not do well?
It's not the most intuitive system. Sometimes I have trouble finding things that I don't use over and over again or the labels aren't exactly what I'd call them. Additionally, I wish that each company could have multiple contacts, rather than creating a new client for each. This last one was a feature I had with the paid software I used, and it just streamlined everything. And I could copy more than one person on an invoice. None of this is enough to make me switch at this point, but both could definitely be improved.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
Nothing. A peer recommended it to me, and I've recommended it to others. For basic invoicing and bookkeeping, it's a solid option.
