What does the company do well?
It’s so easy to set up a business phone line and system, get a professional voicemail set up (you can set up your own, or pay a professional for an affordable rate). set up various extensions, and manage a voicemail inbox. I would love if I could figure out how to set up the text messaging feature in here, even if it’s not terribly important to our business, as it could offer another line of communication for quick one-off questions. Setting up and getting started is a simple, smooth process, and adding users is pretty quick and easy (and you can control their settings). I’ve used systems like RingCentral, and find Grasshopper to be a more affordable alternative. Simple to get started, easy to get a voicemail recording, simple to dial out, receive calls etc.
What does the company not do well?
While all plans come with certain features (e.g., business texting and visual voicemail), I cannot seem to find a way to set that up. Since all plans offer these options, and there is no 'free, basic' option, I'm at a loss. We don't particularly need these services on our line, but nonetheless, it could be a useful option.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
How bare-boned the internal user pages would be. It doesn't make using the product extra simple, but really, the tool is really useful and it's a minor complaint.
