What does the company do well?
Simple yet robust CRM. Pipedrive is about as lightweight as they come, for simpler use cases. We have a more complicated use case, but did not have the means to purchase an enterprise CRM and spend the bucks on a sophisticated concierge implementation. Pipedrive fit our needs perfectly.
What does the company not do well?
Integrate with a lot of industry specific software. Pipedrive's integration list is impressive, but it tends to be a lot of marketing, accounting, and other industry-agnostic tools. Also, sophisticated automation workflows are not really possible, such as time delays and whatnot. Requires Zapier or 3rd party tools. Also, there is no built in data validation, so be very mindful of data quality.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
The quality of the data being entered into the system is critical. Design processes to ensure good data is being entered, and lots of duplicates are not being created.
