What does the company do well? Sharing and accessibility are the key feature of Google Drive. Exellent sharing options make it an incredible base resource for teams. I especially like how thoughtful the sharing permissions are. With options to share as view only, comment only, or edit, you can maintain total control of your document while still inviting feedback and collaboration. They've recently also created Team Drives, which take this sharing to a new level - they are "organization-owned" locations for documents, so that teams know exactly where batches of documents are.
What does the company not do well? There are a couple of small feature issues, the biggest one being PDF annotation. It doesn't exist inside of Google Drive. I use my iPad a lot, and I really wish there were native annotation capabilities with text input and especially a stylus. They make up for it by having integrations available with lots of other PDF apps, but I'd much rather it be native.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using? Nothing, really! Most everything was very clear up front, and I think that Google Drive is quite easily the best file storage/sharing tool for organizations.
