What does the company do well? AvtiveCollab helps for organization and management for projects with multiple people working on them/collaborators to make deadlines and working out tasks easier and more organize for those involved at almost every level. It worked perfectly well when there was a deadline for publishing and the team I was a part of had several components which needed to be organized to finish the project’s deadlines. ActiveCollab was very useful in helping keep track everyone’s deadlines as well as the overall project deadline, in addition to side-tasks and helping with communication in getting the publication out with everyone on the same page.
What does the company not do well? The dark purple-blue interface with the buttons can be a little jarring to read and there is a learning curb when first implementing the software. ActiveCollab didn’t work when we had poor internet connection and it crashed unexpectedly, which may have been more personal computer CPU usage running out as to ActiveCollab itself. It also wasn’t ideal if someone was operating an older system and had trouble with receiving updates/keeping up, but, again, that may have been more individual as to general software.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using? Can't really say there is too much. Implemented this in a prior project, though not currently using the software, it had worked out well for the team I had been a part of for our prior project.
