What does the company do well? Upwork is one of the first freelancer hubs I've worked with, having been registered with oDesk and Elance before the merger. Usually, the platform is easy to use and makes it easy to unite clients and contractors. The desktop and mobile apps keep getting better and more useful.
What does the company not do well? I'm still on the fence about the fee structure, but the platform can't pay for itself, otherwise. Recent changes aside, I'm hoping client and contractor quality will continue to improve.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using? I can't really think of anything.
