What does the software or service do well?
Jira Software incorporates a set of customizable features that meet the needs of all teams, where any member of the software team can collaborate, track and launch software. It is totally flexible and expandable. We normally use JIRA to track production support issues or to track errors and to create stories and features to create product management software and solutions, among other things.
What does the software or service not do well?
Without much to add on this point. I would say that the performance of the user interface can be improved. However, it is not such a negative point, it is only an annotation, since Jira in my personal opinion is very useful, reliable and complete.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using?
the license is not cheap, and if you want to add add-on you have to pay for each of them.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare?
so far it has not been necessary to use other software; JIRA is ideal for small and medium-sized teams that work in a different package of software products. As a collaborative tool for development projects, JIRA is very useful and easy to administer. The best I have recommended to any user that is this tool.
