What does Jira Software do well?
JIRA is awesome for ticket management in support. The tracking and assignment of tickets is smooth and allows for multiple parties to work on solving problems for our users. I use the integration with Slack to notify me of open issues assigned to me each and every day. I also have used it for project management and it does have everything you need it to have in order to effectively manage projects.
What does Jira Software not do well?
The analytics in JIRA are a bit bare bones. Their visualization lacks customization. On the project management side, it isn't as good as the products I have used like Airtable.
What do you wish you had known about Jira Software before using?
I wish I knew how to use some of the more in-depth nuanced features in JIRA. It feels like there is a lot in the product left untouched.
