What does RingOver do well?
It works very well in my browser. I can use a French local phone number and the overall quality of the calls is very good. The User interface is clear and make it easy to use. You get all the features you could expect from a VOIP service, I don't think there is anything missing. If necessary you can enhance the native features with webhooks and API. The settings are very understandable and you can customize you workspace, uploads your own pictures...
What does RingOver not do well?
I had no real reason to complain about any features with RingOver. What I dislike are the pricing options. When I started my activities as a Freelancer I was disappointed because for me the subscription fees were a bit too high.
What do you wish you had known about RingOver before using?
I don't think there is any trap or whatsoever with RingOver, as long as you know about the pricing. There is a trial option anyway and I furthermore think they really provide reliable services
Have you used a competitor to RingOver ? If so, how does it compare?
Because of their pricing I tried to find other solutions. I purchased my own French mobile number (fully VOIP) and use SIP/softphone solutions. It probably costs a bit less but I wouldn't say it works better or that it is as reliable.
