What does Bitbucket do well? Bitbucket is an easy to use solution everyday to back up your code, control versions, creating and deplying your software. Bitbucket is integrated to Trello, which means you can easily share your project work with your teammates, allowing different people to work on the same code, creating new branches in your repository and updating projects.
What does Bitbucket not do well? UX is not very satisfying, the website seems old, not intuitive and unorganized. Sometimes there are connectivity problems while you are trying to make a massive pull request or when you are updating your repository, which makes a major turn off while working with important work.
What do you wish you had known about Bitbucket before using? Bitbucket is a great software to store your code if you want to and have the space for it. But also it works magic while working with your team and everybody needs access to the same project, altering and editing it. Bitbucket makes it easy to edit and update!
Have you used a competitor to Bitbucket? If so, how does it compare? GitHub in my opinion is more attractive to work with, as the UI is very easy to understand, software helps you to understand what you can do there right from the start.
