What does the software or service do well?
LiveAgent was built for support teams and in this area, I think LA Desk shines really bright. There is a lot of customizations like Live Chat, Out of Office Messaging, Calls, Tickets, Website Tracking - which is everything that your business would need for supporting your customers. The widget loads fast on my website and the support portal is really gorgeous! There are also a lot of customizations that can be done on your widgets like the Branding, Images, animations, etc.
What does the software or service not do well?
I think the mobile app needs some more polishing and improvements. Right now my challenge is being online all the time on mobile to support customers in real time. I am also a bit confused on the "Contact Center" features that are already built into the LiveAgent platform.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using?
Maybe the least liked about LiveAgent features would be the navigation inside the Agent / Owner platform. There are lots of things to configure and not so advanced users can get lost inside!
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare?
Yes, I have looked into Zoho Desk, Freshdesk, and Spiceworks Cloud. I find LiveAgent more fit for my Website business in supporting my current and future customers.
