Simbla promises a basic solution to your website needs. The three plans mentioned above are their most standard plans, ranging from free to $12 per month. They have two other plans beyond those three that cost $24 and $48 per month respectively, with the main difference only being more storage and bandwidth. There is no month-to-month billing option for all of Simbla’s plans. You have to get a full year’s subscription, and can only pay via Paypal.
All of Simbla’s website templates are mobile optimized and responsive. However, you won’t get access to all of their available templates if you subscribe under the free plan. Their ecommerce option is still marked as ‘coming soon’ as of writing this article, but it does say on the website that the option will be available to those who have the Basic plan or above.
Unlike other website builders, Simbla doesn’t offer the perk of getting a free domain with your subscription, nor does it give you the option of purchasing a domain from them. You will have to settle for a Simbla address if you get the free plan, or purchase a domain from a third party provider and link it to your Simbla website if you get the Starter plan and above.
Best Pricing Option for Small Business Owners
Since Simbla doesn’t offer month-to-month billing, it might be better to test out their Free plan first before you commit to anything. At least you will be able to get a glimpse of what could be in store for you. Once you’re ready to upgrade, the Basic plan is affordable but provides enough storage and bandwidth for a small business website. The Basic plan will also give you the freedom to remove the Simbla branding from your website, personalizing it even more.
