What Stitch Labs Does Well
Users who gave Stitch Labs a positive review said that the reports section displays comparisons, product tracking, and sales tracking to help them analyze what items are most profitable. Others shared that it can automatically update their onhand product inventory.
“The company does really well with all the different reports that can be generated. I love being able to have quick access to past payments, top products and customers for the season, along with forecasting sales. It also is very easy to generate an invoice, receive a payment (through their integration with Authorize.Net) and manually reconcile inventory. With us changing our inventory around whether it’s to donate a product, a giveaway or damaged item, I can easily go in and change quantities without hassle.”

What Stitch Labs Does Not Do Well
Users who gave Stitch Labs a negative review complained that the software lacks the ability to handle recurring orders and returned items. Others shared that it could get too expensive for those who have many SKUs in their system.
“I joined Stitch Labs when it was free, so I’m grandfathered in at an affordable rate. I didn’t realize that the prices were so high until I recommended it to a friend who has a similar business to mine and she let me know that it was out of her price range. I also wouldn’t be able to afford it at the current price.
Stitch has a lot of integrations, like Shipstation, Etsy, and others, but I’d love to have it connect with my e-commerce platform, Squarespace.”

The company has one of the most user friendly interfaces for ERP/Inventory Management I have come across. For the most part, they make integrating different sales channel into one system very easy
We have found some short falls on the finance and reporting side. We work in multiple currencies and the reporting is not able to handle this, they just add up all the costs as one making all financials in these aggregate reports false. They also won’t enable us to add in our own manual channel making it difficult to separate different parts of our business that are not amazon, online or ebay
I wish we knew that we would not be able to do any reporting with costs for multiple currencies

One of my biggest complaints is the entering of a PO. If something is typed out of order, I can’t move the line up or down, I have to delete everything prior to where I would want a line. Let’s say it was entered Small, Large, Medium, XLarge. Instead of sliding Medium up one line, I would have to delete Large, Medium, and XLarge then re-enter those three lines. May seem like a small problem but when you have a PO with 50 lines, it can get frustrating. Another thing that is kind of aggravating is changing from one tab to another with it being very slow. Though, maybe that is just today’s expectation of having everything super fast. Last, sometimes SKU’s being “unlinked” with the integration of Shopify can be annoying and hard to resolve without contacting customer service.
I wish I knew, obviously, all of the things listed above that the company doesn’t do well. I may have to revisit other Inventory Management Systems to make sure I’m still getting a bang for my buck, which is kind of more than we’d like.

Easy data flow from shopify and square orders to stitch for fulfillment purposes. Customer service is fairly quick to respond to issues.
Not the best for pulling reports from and can be slow at times. Wish it could integrate with our wholesale platform, brandboom.
It would have a better way of accounting for landed costs

I have been using Stitch Labs since 2012 and it is a great system for small product-based businesses, like mine. I can easily track inventory, manage wholesale and consignment accounts, create invoices, integrate with my Etsy store, and lots more. My favorite feature is reports–from inventory tracking to sales by customer type, there are lots of options. I just used reports to calculate my local sales tax and it was super easy. Customer service is also great via email–I just learned about a feature I never knew about that will make my production even more efficient! The platform was updated over the last few years and it is significantly faster and more intuitive.

I wish I knew that the prices would go up so dramatically. It’s pretty unaffordable for most small businesses, which was it’s original customer base. I worry that I may get priced out at some point.
