Adding Second Company to Quickbooks
I have quickbooks (2016) for my company and just acquired a non-profit company. I was given the portable qbm data file to restore to my quickbooks. Will there be an issue with one being profit and second one being non-profit in the same quickbooks desktop version? Do you have a tutorial on how to set this up?
Great question. As long as you are not using the Non profit version of QuickBooks Desktop you should be fine. To set up a new company file, you can just go to File and select New. Unfortunately, I do not have a video tutorial for QuickBooks Desktop setup. However, I have included a link to the QuickBooks Desktop support site.
