Agent branding underneath their Company’s Corporate Branding
What are some ways you suggest agents create their own personal brand, while adhering to and operating under their respective umbrella company?
Your personal brand shouldn’t really conflict with your brokerage at all. In most cases, your brokerage will have rules about disclosure, naming etc. in order to be in accordance with state laws. This is something you should be paying attention to anyway, so it’s hardly onerous for most agents.
However, some brokerages (I won’t name names) have some rather draconian restrictions on branding, websites, etc. that go far beyond state laws. If you’re working for a brokerage that has these kinds of rules, I would strongly consider switching to one that doesn’t.
