I desperately need a current BCG (Boston Consulting Group) Matrix for Amazon, Inc. It can be very complicated to put together as you are well aware by scanning over their income statement and balance sheet for 2017. Determining the most important values to include and the implications that indicate the reason for their success to date is imperative in an analysis of the company in terms of their immediate rivals.
Could you please show a current BCG and indicate the implications that indicate the reason for their success to date an analysis of the company in terms of their immediate rivals? Thanks ever so much. I certainly appreciate your time, expertise, and efforts toward this effort in learning.

An enterprise-wide earnings report-based analysis of Amazon is beyond my purview. That’s not something most of our small business readers are looking for — try searching investment analysts or business schools for that deep dive into Amazon’s far-reaching corporate operation and market share.
However, a BCG matrix is a great tool that Amazon sellers can use to quickly categorize and analyze their products using easy-to-understand language — Dogs, Question Marks, Stars, and Cash Cows are an easy and quick way to visualize what’s working and what’s not. We’ll probably do something on that in the future.
