Are UCC filings valid in countries outside of the United States?
And if yes, then where would they be filed?
UCC filings are only valid in the United States and U.S. owned territories. Other countries have similar systems, but each country operates individually with what is recorded, and how it’s recorded. There is no master list of these types of filings that is searchable. If you are looking for a UCC-type lien for a foreign organization, or want to file a UCC-type lien in another country, you would need to determine what the filing system for that particular government is.
