I have a total marketing budget of $1100/month and want to get the best bang for my buck. I am not totally tech savvy and don’t have a personal site, crm, lead gen service or anything. I will be starting from scratch, which one would you recommend? Please feel free to ask more information of me to give the best answer.January 9, 2018 at 2:29 am #146410
I wouldn’t discount the idea of running your own website and PPC ads entirely. While there certainly is a learning curve, at the end of the day you will have a site you own free and clear, and will be able to devote 100% of your lead gen budget to actually buying ads. Check out some of the articles here about building a site with WordPress, facebook advertising, landing pages, and SEO.
So budget wise this would look something like for fixed costs; CRM like Contactually: $~50 per month. IDX provider (IDX broker) ~$50 per month.
That would leave you with $1000 bucks for Facebook ads!
If you’d rather go with a turnkey solution, our current pick is Real Geeks. They offer a pretty comprehensive that works great right out of the box.
I’ve been hearing good things about Chime too, but not sure where they land price wise.
What you need to do is go to each site you’re curious about, and sign up for a demo with a sales rep. Ask them each the same questions (you can use the info on the table in our lead generation websites article to give you some ideas) and kick the tires.
