Which states offer similar broker licensing option like Nebraska? In Nebraska you can become a Broker after two years real estate salesperson experience or you can take additional courses and become a Broker without first being a salesperson.
Most states have experience restrictions on becoming a real estate broker. In New York for example, we have a point system that assigns credit for each sales or rental transaction you complete as an agent.
Florida and Illinois however only require 2 years of full time work as an agent.
