Is it a requirement to have a personal FB page to create a business page?
1) I/we the company, do not wish to allocate an employee the ability to have potentially have sole control of such a advertising page
2) Myself being the MD, have no interest in communicating at a personal level using social media, hence my question.November 14, 2018 at 2:32 pm #278622
Yes, you would need a personal profile in order to admin your page. You can set up a personal “business” profile, however, and not actually use that account for anything else- IE; your personal page is not required to be an active page, it just needs to exist in order to start a business page.November 14, 2018 at 8:32 pm #281557

You can create a business manager Facebook account that then manages your business Facebook page, allowing you to bypass the personal login and keeping your personal information private from company employees. Here’s a link to the information: https://business.facebook.com.
While you do need a personal account to create a business manager account, going this direction allows some separation between your personal and professional Facebook profiles.
