can a employer deduct funds from your check for housing as a property manager
Even if it’s already deducted in the NOI forms. meaning the ower already included it as an expense. So its already covered, but they are still removing funds from my check. they also increased the income so I don’t get the hit but I still pay taxes on that increase. I feel this is not right and that its some type of issues or hidden agenda. No explanation but this will benefit you in the long run.
It depends, when you got the job did they say that this was part of your compensation package or that funds would be deducted from your paycheck to cover it, either or in most situations the answer is no as most property managers have this added as part of their overall compensation package. You need to review this with local labor laws as they may be different outside of California.
