Can a HOA located in FL (Irma Qualification Zone) qualify for a FEMA disaster
loan to replace destroyed Metal Carports? This would be for the amount that is not covered by insurance.
Here is what FEMA says on their website:
By law, FEMA assistance cannot duplicate the assistance you receive from your insurance company, but you may receive assistance for items not covered by insurance. If your home was impacted by a major disaster we recommend that you apply for assistance.
