Can I use Calendly as an external resource for internal conference rooms?
Can I integrate with a room resource in 365? We are looking to utilize Calendly as an external resource to our internal conf room resource. Is this possible?
I reached out to Calendly Support to get an answer to your question. Here is what they replied:
“You can absolutely use Calendly as an external resource for your internal conference rooms! Because Calendly sees each account as an individual user, it will not allow overlapping events without the creation of an additional account.
If you would like individuals to be able to book different conference rooms, you’ll need to create a separate Calendly account for each one. This allows each room to act as an individual for your team to reserve. You could set up a team page between all of the accounts, then create a round robin event type for each. This will allow invitees to choose the meeting room they would like to reserve.
If the meeting rooms can be assigned randomly, you can set up a single round robin event type that will pool the availability of all three rooms. Your team can select the time that suits them best, and a random room will be reserved for them.
I hope this solution works for you, but please doesn’t hesitate to reach out to the team at Calendly Customer Support via firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any additional questions about your specific use-case!”
Hope this helps!
