Can invoices be set to default payment with credit card?
We pay most invoices with a credit card. Can this be set up so each vendor is not paid separately?
If I understand your question correctly, you want to create recurring bill payments with a default credit card that you use to pay them. While you can create recurring bills in QuickBooks, they must be matched up with the corresponding payments made via credit card. However, to accomplish your goal, I recommend that you create a recurring expense for each vendor because you can then select the credit card as the account that it is paid out of. However, if you do this, keep in mind that if you also have the credit card connected to QuickBooks it also download the payments you have made which will double up in QuickBooks. Your other option is to take a look at the Bill.com services that are offered by Intuit. Bill.com connects to QuickBooks Online and they specialize in bill payments. You should be able to go to the bill payment center and there should be more information there. If not, type bill.com or pay bills in the search box for more info.
Best of luck,
