Can one "combo" a good front-end with a good back-end?
Loved your article. Very informative with useful comparisons! You would probably know if I can combine the ease of a builder like Weebly or Wix with the economical hosting with functionality [like at NameCheap or BlueHost or SiteGround]. i.e., create the site on Weebly’s builder, hosted at NameCheap?
Also, do you have a view on the CMS, Concrete5?
Weebly and Wix run on their own hosting systems and manage server-side issues. With these systems, you get the site builder and hosting in one package, the builders can’t be hosted elsewhere. WordPress really is the best pick-your-own hosting and domain management option. It gives you far more flexibility than Wix, Weebly, and similar entry-level site builders. It has a bigger learning curve, but it powers more than half of the world’s websites for a reason. I’d go with WordPress on Bluehost if it were me. And I haven’t used Concrete5 so I can’t help you out on that, sorry!
