Can you suggest a title for the owner/head of a very small business – not ceo?
CEO seems a little pretentious for a small, artistic company. We have two people in the business. We write and illustrate our own books, for children. We are new at this and feel the current popular titles are “too much” for us. However, if, in today’s world, the norm is ceo for any size business perhaps we should go with it. Just wondering. CEO is used by many small firms (for prestige), but Business Owner, Principal, President and Founder are all good options. Or make up your own! Chief Writer/Editor…
