Thank you for the good article on small business CRM. We will try some out based on your recommendations. Can we get your suggestions? We are a small (10) architecture, museum planning, and exhibit design firm. We are looking for a basic CRM tool mostly as a pipeline to capture new leads and track them through a contract. There are 2 people who actively will use the CRM. We used Clinchpad for two years but it became too clunky, slow, and did not integrate with Gmail. It looked great on the test and the deom but once we dove in was hard to manage.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful.
If you only have 2 users you use Insightly for free. This integrates with Gmail and is great for tracking pipelines, scheduling follow-up.
I would also consider Pipedrive. There isn’t a free version (starts at $12/month) but it’s little easier to use than Insightly for pipeline tracking, and has an amazing visual interface.
