Denied Workers Comp insurance
Hi I have a question as a new business owner. We will be doing residential cleaning for homes and apartments. 3 Workers total to start. I keep getting denied by every insurance company I call (Have called about 10 different companies). Is there a fall back system that our company can get covered by? Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sometimes getting worker’s comp insurance on your own is hard. That’s why many businesses work with HR payroll services that can provide group rates (they group your 3 employees with others in similar categories to buy and get group rates on insurance). For a company your size, I’d recommend working with Gusto. You can try it for free for 30 days to see if it works for you. If you plan to grow rapidly past 10 or more employees you might want to work with BambooHR, or a PEO. I’ve provided a couple of article links to help you work thru your options. Best of luck to you!
